Verus Investments Limited (Verus) is an Australian listed company which has pursued investments in the oil and gas sector, both domestically and offshore.
The strong belief of the Board of Directors of Verus in the “stronger for longer” commodities cycle has lead to a focused change in the company’s investment strategy. This change has seen the company aggressively seek opportunities for investment in the minerals sector.
Following review of numerous potential investments, the Board of Verus resolved to invest in a Brazilian company that has secured options to purchase a number of mineral properties in Brazil.
The structure of these options enables a detailed investigation and evaluation of each property, over a period of up to 3 years, prior to final purchase.
Whilst it is considered that there is ample prospectivity in each of these projects to deliver a satisfactory outcome for the company, Verus is actively pursuing additional investment options both within Brazil and other regions.
